Frequently asked questions

Where are you located?

The church is located in downtown Benton at the corner of Sibley and Bellevue Street.  Click here to view our address and a map.

What should I wear?

At First Baptist we are more interested in you personally than in your clothing.  Some of our people dress up, some dress casually.  We encourage you to dress however is comfortable for you and either way you will fit in.

Where do I park?

There is off street parking on the east and west side of the church as well as plenty of parking across the street.  Feel free to park in any of our "Visitor" designated parking places.

What do I do when I get inside the church?

As you enter the church, (if not before), you will be greeted by one of our friendly greeters. They will assist you in any way they can.  If you have any questions, or need help finding a class or the children's building, you will find a Welcome Center just inside the main door to the left.  After your visit to the Welcome Center, our ushers will be more than happy to help you find a seat in our Worship Center.  Although some of our members may come by and want to shake your hand to welcome you, we don't ever want you to feel uncomfortable.  Our desire is for you to relax and enjoy your worship experience while here at First Baptist.
